Functional 3D printing · Central Ohio

Made for the partyou can’t just buy.

Have a broken part, a rough idea, or something that just needs to work better? We can help design it, test it, and print it.

Small run. One-off. First iteration.
Every useful part starts somewhere.

We like 3D printing, but we are not here to fill another shelf with toys. We use it for the things that actually help: the odd bracket, the missing spacer, and the one-off idea that needs a real solution.

Start with the problem.
Not the printer.

01

The part you need is not sold anymore

Bring us the original part or a solid measured drawing. We can recreate it, check the fit, and make changes where they actually help.

02

You want to see if an idea works

We can turn a measured concept into something you can hold, test, and improve before you commit to a final version.

03

You only need one — or a few

A small quantity should not force you into expensive tooling or a huge minimum order. Sometimes a short print run simply makes more sense.

A compact setup that can get a lot done.

With six active printers, we can test ideas, work with several materials, and keep a small production run moving without relying on a single machine.

PLA is not the answer to everything.

Common starting pointsSpecialty filament available by project

PCdemanding jobs

These are common starting points, not the full menu. If a job calls for nylon, fiber-reinforced filament, soluble support material, or another specialty FDM option, we can source it and test it for the part. Every material is chosen around where the part will live, how it needs to move, what it will be exposed to, and what the job is worth.

  1. 01

Show us what you are working with

A physical sample is best. An existing CAD file or a properly measured drawing can also give us what we need to begin.

  2. 02

We design it and check the fit

We build the model in Fusion 360 and, when it makes sense, start with an inexpensive test print before using the final material.

  3. 03

We make the amount you need

Whether it is one part or a small run, the material and print setup are chosen around what the part actually has to do.

We know there is more to it than pressing print.

LP3D is run by a Central Ohio team with hands-on experience in mechatronics, engineering technology, 3D modeling in Fusion 360, robotics, and additive manufacturing.

Got something in mind?

Tell us what the part does, where it is used, and what is wrong with the current solution. We will take a look and let you know honestly whether 3D printing is a good fit.
